Create an API key

In the platform, open Settings → API keys and click Create key. Choose the narrowest scope that works. For a training pipeline that only reads data, pick Read datasets.Copy the key right away. It’s shown only once. Live keys start with cpb_live_ and test keys with cpb_test_.
2

List your datasets

Every mission with at least one accepted video has a dataset.
Response
3

Fetch some videos

List the newest accepted videos in a dataset. Each one includes signed download_url and annotations_url links that stay valid for an hour.
4

Estimate a new mission

Price a mission without creating anything:
The response breaks the total into per-task subtotals and QA processing. It also includes the collector pool size, the expected delivery time in days, and whether your credit balance covers the cost. When you’re happy with it, send the same tasks to POST /missions.
Every endpoint in the API reference has a playground. Paste your key once and send real requests from the docs.
